A Life of Commitment, and A First Race

On a path towards the America's Cup since he was five years old, American Magic Trimmer Mac Agnese (Ft. Lauderdale, Florida) has a few things on his mind heading into the first race of his Cup career onboard PATRIOT.

To be an America's Cup sailor, you need more than just knowledge and talent. You need to earn the support of your teammates. You need to forget what you think is possible about speed and performance. And above all, you need to remember where you came from.

U.S. viewers will be able to watch all racing live on NBC Sports Gold.
