OVER 1,000 DAYS INTO THE CHALLENGE, RACE DAY APPROACHES
On December 17, 2020 in Auckland (December 16 in the U.S.), the four AC75's will finally go racing: TE REHUTAI, LUNA ROSSA, BRITANNIA and PATRIOT.
- Race Day at America's Cup World Series Auckland will be 1,081 days after the New York Yacht Club challenged the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron for the Cup. The American challenge was issued seconds after entries opened.
- Race Day will be 460 days after DEFIANT, American Magic's first AC75, was launched in Rhode Island.
- Race Day will be 62 days after PATRIOT first touched the sea in Auckland.
- Race Day will be here in 7 days, and New York Yacht Club American Magic, the U.S. Challenger for the 36th America's Cup, will be ready.
The racing begins with America's Cup World Series Auckland and the Christmas Race (December 17-20, 2020 in New Zealand, and December 16-19 in the U.S.).
